Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital is very proud to replace a scalpel with a surgical laser in many of our procedures. The surgical laser helps your pet recover faster by offering less pain, less bleeding, and less swelling. Laser technology reduces the trauma to your pet, improves recovery, and often shortens hospital stays. What does this all mean for you pet? The laser sterilizes as it removes deceased tissue, killing bacteria that can cause infection, seals nerve endings as it moves through tissue, causing less pain post-operatively, and seals small blood vessels during surgery which allows your doctor to perform surgeries with extraordinary precision.
