The History of the Practice
We are a veterinary clinic with a long-standing reputation for providing the best veterinary care. Since 1979, Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital has been serving the greater-Wichita/Sedgwick County area with the highest quality veterinary medicine and service.
1979
Dr. Dan Thompson and his wife, Jill, opened Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital (CTAH) in Park City, Kansas.
The practice was named for a nineteenth century cattle trail that ran from Texas to a rail-head in Abilene, Kansas. The trail passed through Park City along Broadway.
2017
Dr. Dan retired and sold the practice. We strive to continue practicing the same standard of care that the Thompsons have established over the past 38 years.
