Dr. Gary Stamps grew up in Oklahoma and Kansas and graduated from Collegiate High School. He received his DVM degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Dr. Stamps has practiced for 33 years & founded Animal Hospital at Auburn Hills in Wichita 2008. He also started practicing at Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital in 2023.
Dr. Stamps is committed to his patients, clients, & community and enjoys seeing how his patients fit into their families. He enjoys all aspects of small animal care & has a special interest in ophthalmology, dermatology & dentistry.
Married 31 years, Dr. Stamps’ best friend is his wife Stacey who is ironically allergic to animals! They have 3 adult children and two grandchildren who call him “PaPa”. Their 4-footed family member is a high-energy, hypoallergenic AussieDoodle named “Oreo”.
Outside of work, Dr. Stamps spends time with his family, in Bible study or with his church family at Cornerstone Bible Church. He hopes to someday return to his previous love of running marathons.
